Got a chance to present at AWS Meetup in April which in turn had us talking to TechTarget who attended the session on Amazon Docker Support, most notably EC2 Container Service. The result is an article on EC2 Container Service with us making a guest appearance.

Got a chance to present this evening at the AWS Meetup. We provided an overview of Amazon’s EC2 Container Service alongside Ricardo DeMatos from AWS, presenting Docker and Elastic Beanstalk. What is clear is Docker support in the AWS layer has grown leaps and bounds since this past November when we spoke at HubSpot.

Interesting article in Techcrunch about PaaS and why it hasn’t taken over the computing world. In our experiences and discussing with other individuals, PaaS can hide too much detail in the infrastructure and make it difficult to debug scale / performance issues if not used appropriately.
